The magic pot in the coffee world - Syphon


While watching the vacuum dance of the upper and lower pots, I study the game of water temperature and extraction.



What you need


Coffee beans

Coffee Syphon
Alcohol burner
lighter
Bamboo spoon for stirring
Wrung-out wet cloth.


Step1

Add an appropriate amount of boiling water to the lower pot, place it in place, and light the wick about 3mm away from the flame. Remember to wipe the water droplets off the pot to prevent it from cracking during heating.

Step2

Add an appropriate amount of coffee, about 10 grams per cup is standard. You can add according to your preference. Insert the upper pot at an angle and straighten it after the water boils.

Step3

After the water in the lower pot rises, stir it and continue heating
for
about 1 minute. Be careful not to overheat the lower pot.

Step4

 Remove the heat source and stop heating. Wait for the extracted coffee to flow back into the lower pot. Hold the stand firmly with one hand and remove the upper pot. You can then pour it out and enjoy it.
